Women and children have become the most vulnerable victims of conflicts nowadays. However, women have been traditionally underrepresented in peace processes and stabilization efforts, despite the proven fact that their contribution is a key factor for the strength and the duration of such efforts. Afghanistan, Colombia and Rwanda are three countries where women have been included on peace agreements.
